Who we are.

Capla was founded in Puerto Rico in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic by two adventure enthusiasts who faced challenges with soggy gear on their trips. Inspired to find a solution, they invested in waterproof backpacks and launched their business while still in college. The company quickly gained momentum, selling out their initial products in just one month, revealing a gap in the market for Puerto Rican outdoor gear. Today, Capla has grown into a registered company, providing employment opportunities and high-quality products for fellow Puerto Ricans.
